We are looking for experienced SPM Chemistry teachers in Johor to teach Form 4 and 5 students online, one to one. It is freelance, part-time work from home, from RM50/hr depending on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Johor
Whether you are in a city or a small town in Johor, the work is identical. Choose your town below or send your application now.
Johor is Malaysia’s southern gateway, from Johor Bahru on the Singapore border to the towns of Muar, Batu Pahat and Kluang.
Many teachers in Johor already teach some classes online and like the focus it gives. With us, every lesson works that way, one student at a time.
Teachers in Johor often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.
The work
The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.
You tell us the hours you can teach, and we plan lessons inside them. Many of our teachers fit lessons around school hours, family time or other work.
A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.
There is no minimum timetable set on this page; your availability shapes the work. Tell us your days and times, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
