We are looking for experienced SPM Chemistry teachers in Skudai to teach Form 4 and 5 students online, one to one. It is freelance, part-time work from home, from RM50/hr depending on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Skudai
Skudai sits in the Johor Bahru district of Johor. Teachers living anywhere in the district, or elsewhere in Johor, are welcome to apply.
Skudai is best known as the home of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), whose sprawling main campus gives the town its academic character, and it sits along the Skudai Highway that carries commuters into and out of Johor Bahru every day. In a fast-moving township, one dependable weekly slot is easy to keep.
Home languages span Malay, Mandarin, English and Tamil.
From Skudai, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.
The work
Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.
Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.
