Kluang grew up around its railway line, and the town still keeps that character. The old station houses a coffee shop that has been roasting and brewing since 1938, and its charcoal toast and kopi are a genuine Johor institution.
Just outside the town, Gunung Lambak rises with its forest trails and wide views over the surrounding countryside.
Because lessons run online, your location in Kluang only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.
The work
Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.
Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.
School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
