We teach SPM Chemistry, one student at a time
spmchemistry.com.my is a specialist online tutoring service for SPM Chemistry, Form 4 and Form 5. We do one thing and do it well: our experienced Chemistry teachers teach one-to-one, and we assign each student the teacher best suited to their level, target grade and the chapters they find hardest.
Who runs it
Rig and Dale run spmchemistry.com.my themselves. Rig is a Mathematics and Additional Mathematics educator with more than eight years of teaching, and the founder of The Add Math Lab and an IGCSE tutor network; Dale is an English educator with more than ten years in the classroom.
Between them they have taught more than 5,000 students, and they lead the team and set the standard every Chemistry teacher meets.
Why we started
Parents told us the same thing over and over: it is hard to know whether a Chemistry tutor is genuinely experienced, and harder still to judge the fit before committing to a month of lessons. We built spmchemistry.com.my to answer both.
Every teacher meets our teacher standard before they take a student, and every family starts with a real, paid one-hour first lesson, so you can judge the teaching honestly before continuing.
Our promise
Experienced teachers only. One-to-one, fully online, so a student anywhere in Malaysia can learn with the experienced teacher we assign them.
Lessons are conducted in English; the SPM Chemistry papers are bilingual, so working in English prepares a student for either version. Fees are from RM50 an hour and vary with the teacher’s experience, and your first lesson is a real, paid one-hour lesson so you can see the fit for yourself.
