Teach SPM Chemistry online from Yong Peng

Teaching from Yong Peng

We list this role for Yong Peng, in Johor’s Batu Pahat district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Johor you live.

Yong Peng grew up around plantation country in central-west Johor, on the old trunk road that once carried most of the north–south traffic before the expressway was built. Its best-known attraction, the colourful Fortune Dragon with its long painted tunnel, sits among landscaped gardens and koi ponds just off the highway.

Johor is Malaysia’s southern gateway, from Johor Bahru on the Singapore border to the towns of Muar, Batu Pahat and Kluang.

A teacher in Yong Peng can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.

From Yong Peng, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
