Teach SPM Chemistry online from Putatan

Teaching from Putatan

Applying from Putatan or elsewhere in Putatan? The role is identical across Sabah, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.

The North Borneo railway line still runs through here, with a Putatan station on the route that hugs the coast toward Papar, and close by stands the Petagas War Memorial, which remembers those killed during the Japanese occupation. Being a commuter town, it shares the road into Kota Kinabalu with everyone else, and the daily jam along Jalan Putatan and the Lintas corridor turns a short distance into a long, slow evening.

In the large classes of a fast-growing town, a single shaky topic slips past easily.

You can be based anywhere in Putatan and still teach a full timetable of students. Online lessons mean your students may be in another state entirely.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.

You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
