Teach Form 4 and 5 Chemistry online from Beaufort, on hours that fit around the rest of your week. This is a freelance, part-time role paid from RM50/hr, depending on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Beaufort
Teachers from Beaufort and across the Beaufort district of Sabah can apply here. Your state is prefilled in the message, so just add your details.
The Padas itself shapes the town: the wooden shophouses along Jalan Chung stand on stilts against the river's periodic flooding, and the Beaufort Bridge crosses the water that both sustains the district and, in the wet season, rises into it. When the Padas floods, even local travel can be interrupted.
In a full classroom a single shaky topic can slip past unremarked for weeks.
There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Beaufort. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.
The work
You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.
The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.
You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.
You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
How to apply
Your application is a single WhatsApp chat: the prefilled message first, your CV second. We read every one and reply in the same chat.
