Serian sits about sixty kilometres from Kuching along the trunk road inland, a Bidayuh heartland known across Sarawak for its fruit. Locals call it the durian town, and its bustling roadside market, the pepper farms and orchards around it, and the cool pools and waterfalls of the Ranchan Recreation Park just outside give the place its character.

Sarawak is Malaysia’s largest state, spread along the Borneo coast from Kuching to Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.

Living in Serian is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

From Serian, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

You tell us the hours you can teach, and we plan lessons inside them. Many of our teachers fit lessons around school hours, family time or other work.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
