Teach SPM Chemistry online from Lawas

Teaching from Lawas

We list this role for Lawas, in Sarawak’s Lawas district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Sarawak you live.

Lawas has a setting unlike anywhere else in the state. The Lawas Waterfront looks over the river, and the town is the doorway to the Lun Bawang highlands of Ba'Kelalan, the fishing villages of Punang and Awat-Awat, and the hot springs at Merarap.

Sarawak is Malaysia’s largest state, spread along the Borneo coast from Kuching to Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.

A teacher in Lawas can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.

Teachers in Lawas often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

The work

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
