Teach SPM Chemistry online from Bintulu

Teaching from Bintulu

Teachers from Bintulu and across the Bintulu district of Sarawak can apply here. Your state is prefilled in the message, so just add your details.

Bintulu is Sarawak's industrial and energy town, a coastal port that grew around the oil, gas and timber trade. Out at Tanjung Kidurong stands one of the world's major liquefied natural gas complexes, and the Kidurong Tower looks out over the plants and their flare stacks; away from the industry the town keeps its greener side too, with Taman Tumbina and its hornbill aviary near the centre and Similajau National Park along the coast.

Sarawak is Malaysia’s largest state, spread along the Borneo coast from Kuching to Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.

Teachers in Bintulu often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

Living in Bintulu is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

You tell us the hours you can teach, and we plan lessons inside them. Many of our teachers fit lessons around school hours, family time or other work.
