Teach SPM Chemistry online from Sarikei

Teaching from Sarikei

Teachers from Sarikei and across the Sarikei district of Sarawak can apply here. Your state is prefilled in the message, so just add your details.

Sarikei stands on the Rajang River near where it meets the sea, and it is known across Sarawak as the pineapple town, a giant pineapple statue on the waterfront makes the point plainly. Behind the riverfront run rows of old Chinese shophouses from the 1930s, a reminder of the Foochow settlers and traders who built the town's economy around agriculture and the river trade.

Sarawak is Malaysia’s largest state, spread along the Borneo coast from Kuching to Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.

A teacher in Sarikei can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.

Living in Sarikei is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.

Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.

Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
