Teach SPM Chemistry online from Tanjung Bungah

Teaching from Tanjung Bungah

Applying from Tanjung Bungah or elsewhere in Timur Laut? The role is identical across Pulau Pinang, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.

Tanjung Bungah sits along the northern seafront of the island, on the road that runs from George Town out toward Batu Ferringhi. Its best-known landmark is the Floating Mosque, Malaysia's first mosque built out over the sea, which appears to float on the water at high tide and looks out across the Straits from the shoreline.

Behind it the town climbs quickly from the beach into steep, green residential hills crowded with condominiums, and at its heart the Tanjung Bungah market, one of the largest wet markets in the north of the island, draws residents from all along the coast.

You can be based anywhere in Tanjung Bungah and still teach a full timetable of students. Online lessons mean your students may be in another state entirely.

The work

Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.
