Teach SPM Chemistry online from Nibong Tebal

Teaching from Nibong Tebal

Nibong Tebal sits in the Seberang Perai Selatan district of Pulau Pinang. Teachers living anywhere in the district, or elsewhere in Pulau Pinang, are welcome to apply.

Nibong Tebal sits at the far south of Penang, a small town where the state meets its neighbours, Parit Buntar in Perak to the south and Bandar Baharu in Kedah to the east. Around the town the country is rural: oil palm, old plantation land and villages spread out toward the borders, with the university a striking modern presence at its heart.

Penang joins the island of George Town to the mainland at Butterworth and Bukit Mertajam.

Because lessons run online, your location in Nibong Tebal only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.

Teachers in Nibong Tebal often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.
