Teach SPM Chemistry online from Air Itam

Teaching from Air Itam

Applying from Air Itam or elsewhere in Timur Laut? The role is identical across Pulau Pinang, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.

Air Itam is a busy inland township just west of George Town, best known as the home of Kek Lok Si, the hillside temple whose tiers, pagoda and towering statue of Guan Yin look out over the island, one of the largest Buddhist temple complexes in the country. Just up the road is the lower station of the Penang Hill funicular, and the Air Itam market at the heart of the town is famous across Malaysia for its assam laksa.

On an island this compact, the barrier is rarely distance in kilometres, it is traffic and time.

Living in Air Itam is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.

Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.

There is no minimum timetable set on this page; your availability shapes the work. Tell us your days and times, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
