Teach SPM Chemistry online from Bayan Lepas

Teaching from Bayan Lepas

We list this role for Bayan Lepas, in Pulau Pinang’s Barat Daya district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Pulau Pinang you live.

Bayan Lepas is defined by the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, the country's first free trade zone, opened in 1972 and often called the Silicon Valley of the East. Alongside Penang International Airport, the zone packs together the factories of firms such as Intel, AMD, Bosch and Osram, and the roads through it fill and empty with the shift changes of a working town.

Bayan Lepas is a working, mixed township, and many of its households are connected in some way to the electronics and engineering industries clustered nearby.

Living in Bayan Lepas is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.

Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.

You tell us the hours you can teach, and we plan lessons inside them. Many of our teachers fit lessons around school hours, family time or other work.
