Teach SPM Chemistry online from Paka

Teaching from Paka

Teachers from Paka and across the Dungun district of Terengganu can apply here. Your state is prefilled in the message, so just add your details.

Paka is a small town that carries a surprisingly large piece of the nation's infrastructure. Yet Paka has never stopped being a fishing town: boats still work the South China Sea off its beaches, and the older village life carries on beside the pipelines and the power lines.

Terengganu runs along the east coast from Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Nerus down to Kemaman and the oil towns of Kerteh and Paka.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Paka. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

Teachers in Paka often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

The work

You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

There is no minimum timetable set on this page; your availability shapes the work. Tell us your days and times, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
