Your next SPM Chemistry students do not need to live in Kuala Nerus for you to teach them. Teach online and one to one, freelance and part-time, from RM50/hr depending on experience and availability.
Teaching from Kuala Nerus
Applying from Kuala Nerus or elsewhere in Kuala Nerus? The role is identical across Terengganu, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.
Terengganu runs along the east coast from Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Nerus down to Kemaman and the oil towns of Kerteh and Paka.
A teacher in Kuala Nerus can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.
From Kuala Nerus, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.
The work
You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.
The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.
You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.
Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
