Teach SPM Chemistry online from Chukai

Teaching from Chukai

This posting covers Chukai and the surrounding Kemaman district in Terengganu. If you live nearby but not in Chukai itself, apply anyway and tell us your town.

Chukai is the commercial centre of Kemaman, the district that meets Pahang at the southern end of the Terengganu coast. Its character is easy to taste: this is keropok lekor and satar country, and the old kopitiam trade, Hai Peng Kopitiam among the best known, has made Kemaman coffee a name travellers stop for on the coastal road between Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu.

Around the town run the daily market at Pasar Chukai, the shophouse rows of Kampung Cukai, and a working waterfront where fishing and trade have shaped the place for generations.

From Chukai, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.

The work

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.
