Dungun has a longer industrial memory than most towns its size. In the 1930s and 1940s the hills at Bukit Besi, inland to the west, were among the country's most important iron-ore mines, and the ore was carried down to the coast and shipped out through Kuala Dungun and the port at Sura.

The mines have long since closed, leaving Bukit Besi as a quiet reminder, but the coast kept its rhythm of fishing and trade. Today the town centre at Kuala Dungun, the beach at Teluk Bidara, and the road that links Dungun north to Paka and Kerteh mark out a district spread between the sea and the interior.

Because lessons run online, your location in Dungun only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.
