Teach SPM Chemistry online from Temerloh

Teaching from Temerloh

We list this role for Temerloh, in Pahang’s Temerloh district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Pahang you live.

Temerloh stands at the meeting point of the Pahang and Semantan rivers, and it likes to remind visitors that it sits almost exactly at the geographic centre of Peninsular Malaysia. The town is famous nationwide as the home of ikan patin, the silver catfish celebrated in gulai tempoyak.

Pahang is Peninsular Malaysia’s largest state, from coastal Kuantan to the Cameron Highlands and inland Jerantut.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Temerloh. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

A teacher in Temerloh can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.

The work

Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
