Teach SPM Chemistry online from Bentong

Teaching from Bentong

We list this role for Bentong, in Pahang’s Bentong district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Pahang you live.

Bentong sits in the hills where Pahang meets Selangor, in the shadow of Bentong Hill that locals climb at dawn. Once a tin town known as Kapong, it found new life as a foodie stop and heritage draw: the streets of the old town have become Bentong Walk, alive with murals and stalls, and the Kwan Yin Tong cave temple sits just outside the centre.

The name Bentong today is almost shorthand for its famous ginger and its durian.

Living in Bentong is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.

Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.
