Teach SPM Chemistry online from Kuantan

Teaching from Kuantan

We list this role for Kuantan, in Pahang’s Kuantan district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Pahang you live.

Kuantan is Pahang's coastal capital, facing the South China Sea on Malaysia's east coast. In busy classes it is easy for one weak topic to go unnoticed until it costs marks.

Pahang is Peninsular Malaysia’s largest state, from coastal Kuantan to the Cameron Highlands and inland Jerantut.

Many teachers in Kuantan already teach some classes online and like the focus it gives. With us, every lesson works that way, one student at a time.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Kuantan. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

The work

Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.
