Teach SPM Chemistry online from Tanah Merah

Teaching from Tanah Merah

Tanah Merah sits in the Tanah Merah district of Kelantan. Teachers living anywhere in the district, or elsewhere in Kelantan, are welcome to apply.

Tanah Merah, the name means "red earth", sits inland from the Kelantan coast, a district capital that most people picture by its landmarks: the golden dome of the Sultan Ismail Petra Silver Jubilee Mosque rising over the town centre, and the old railway station on the East Coast line, where the train still stops on its long run between Gemas and Tumpat.

Kelantan, on the north-east coast, centres on Kota Bharu and reaches inland to Gua Musang and Kuala Krai.

A teacher in Tanah Merah can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.

Living in Tanah Merah is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.
