Here is a home-based teaching role for Kelantan: SPM Chemistry, Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson. It is freelance and part-time, from RM50/hr depending on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Kelantan
This is the Kelantan posting for our online SPM Chemistry teacher role. Find your town below, or apply straight from this page.
Kelantan, on the north-east coast, centres on Kota Bharu and reaches inland to Gua Musang and Kuala Krai.
Living in Kelantan is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.
Many teachers in Kelantan already teach some classes online and like the focus it gives. With us, every lesson works that way, one student at a time.
The work
You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.
Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.
Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.
Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
