Teach SPM Chemistry online from Kota Bharu

Teaching from Kota Bharu

Teachers from Kota Bharu and across the Kota Bharu district of Kelantan can apply here. Your state is prefilled in the message, so just add your details.

Kota Bharu is the cultural capital of the north-east, a city that wears its Malay heritage proudly. Its old quarter around Jalan Sultan holds Istana Jahar, the royal customs museum, and Padang Merdeka, while the famous Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah, the busy central market known for its women traders, anchors daily life nearby.

Kelantan, on the north-east coast, centres on Kota Bharu and reaches inland to Gua Musang and Kuala Krai.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Kota Bharu. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

Many teachers in Kota Bharu already teach some classes online and like the focus it gives. With us, every lesson works that way, one student at a time.

The work

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
