Teach SPM Chemistry online from Pasir Mas

Teaching from Pasir Mas

We list this role for Pasir Mas, in Kelantan’s Pasir Mas district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Kelantan you live.

Pasir Mas sits on the western side of the Kelantan River not far from Kota Bharu, and much of its character comes from the frontier. The district contains Rantau Panjang, the busy duty-free border town where the Harmony Bridge crosses the Sungai Golok to Sungai Kolok on the Thai side, one of the two main Malaysia–Thailand crossings in Kelantan.

Pasir Mas town itself is a junction on the KTM East Coast Line, the point from which the branch line once ran out to the border.

Living in Pasir Mas is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.

Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.

Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.
