Teach SPM Chemistry online from Machang

Teaching from Machang

This posting covers Machang and the surrounding Machang district in Kelantan. If you live nearby but not in Machang itself, apply anyway and tell us your town.

Machang is a quiet inland town set among the paddy and rubber country of central Kelantan, and its best-known landmark is Bukit Bakar, the recreational forest and eco park in the hills just outside town. Machang also carries a higher-education presence, with a MARA University of Technology (UiTM) campus in the area.

Kelantan, on the north-east coast, centres on Kota Bharu and reaches inland to Gua Musang and Kuala Krai.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Machang. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

From Machang, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.

Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.

Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
