Teach SPM Chemistry online from Raub

Teaching from Raub

We list this role for Raub, in Pahang’s Raub district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Pahang you live.

Its very name is said to come from the word for a "scoop," because early miners found flecks of gold in every scoop of earth, and the Raub Australian Gold Mine worked the district for decades. The old heart of town is compact, two parallel streets of traditional shophouses and a scatter of colonial-era buildings that the Raub Heritage Trail now links together, with the cool retreat of Fraser's Hill not far up the road.

Pahang is Peninsular Malaysia’s largest state, from coastal Kuantan to the Cameron Highlands and inland Jerantut.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Raub. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

Because lessons run online, your location in Raub only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.

The work

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

You tell us the hours you can teach, and we plan lessons inside them. Many of our teachers fit lessons around school hours, family time or other work.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.
