Teach Form 4 and 5 Chemistry online from Pekan, on hours that fit around the rest of your week. This is a freelance, part-time role paid from RM50/hr, depending on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Pekan
This posting covers Pekan and the surrounding Pekan district in Pahang. If you live nearby but not in Pekan itself, apply anyway and tell us your town.
Pekan sits on the wide mouth of the Sungai Pahang, and it wears its history as the ceremonial heart of the state.
Pahang is Peninsular Malaysia’s largest state, from coastal Kuantan to the Cameron Highlands and inland Jerantut.
Living in Pekan is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.
Many teachers in Pekan already teach some classes online and like the focus it gives. With us, every lesson works that way, one student at a time.
The work
Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.
You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.
Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
How to apply
Send us the application message on WhatsApp, then attach your CV in that chat. We reply on WhatsApp to arrange the next step.
