Teach SPM Chemistry online from Langkawi

Teaching from Langkawi

We list this role for Langkawi, in Kedah’s Langkawi district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Kedah you live.

Langkawi is an archipelago of islands off the northwest coast, its name tied to the eagle, the great bronze bird of Dataran Lang, or Eagle Square, that greets visitors arriving by ferry at Kuah. The island is a UNESCO Global Geopark: the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, with limestone that dates back hundreds of millions of years, and the cable car that climbs Mount Machinchang to a sky bridge above the forest, are the landmarks the world knows Langkawi by.

For most towns "location is no barrier" is a nice phrase.

Teachers in Langkawi often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

The work

You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.

School holidays and the months before SPM tend to be busier. If you can offer extra hours then, say so, and keep a lighter load the rest of the year.

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

There is no minimum timetable set on this page; your availability shapes the work. Tell us your days and times, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
