Experienced Chemistry teachers in Semenyih: this is a freelance, part-time role teaching SPM students online, one to one. Pay starts from RM50/hr and depends on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Semenyih
Applying from Semenyih or elsewhere in Hulu Langat? The role is identical across Selangor, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.
Semenyih sits in hilly country roughly 28 kilometres southeast of Kuala Lumpur, and for a town of its size it carries an unusually academic name.
Selangor is Malaysia’s most populous state, wrapping around Kuala Lumpur through Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Klang and the Klang Valley suburbs.
From Semenyih, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.
Many teachers in Semenyih already teach some classes online and like the focus it gives. With us, every lesson works that way, one student at a time.
The work
Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.
Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.
There is no minimum timetable set on this page; your availability shapes the work. Tell us your days and times, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
How to apply
Tap Apply on WhatsApp and the message opens with each question ready to answer. Fill it in from Semenyih, send it, then share your CV in the chat.
