Teach SPM Chemistry online from Cyberjaya

Teaching from Cyberjaya

We list this role for Cyberjaya, in Selangor’s Sepang district, so local teachers can find it. The work is the same wherever in Selangor you live.

Cyberjaya was planned from the late 1990s as the heart of the Multimedia Super Corridor and the country's first intelligent city, a purpose-built home for technology companies, research centres and universities. Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia's first private university, sits at its core, joined by Limkokwing University and a cluster of multinational offices and data centres.

Selangor is Malaysia’s most populous state, wrapping around Kuala Lumpur through Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Klang and the Klang Valley suburbs.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Cyberjaya. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

Teachers in Cyberjaya often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

The work

Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.

Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.
