If you teach SPM Chemistry and live in Rantau, you can teach our students one to one from home. The role is freelance and part-time, with pay from RM50/hr depending on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Rantau
Rantau sits in the Seremban district of Negeri Sembilan. Teachers living anywhere in the district, or elsewhere in Negeri Sembilan, are welcome to apply.
Rantau is a small town in the heart of Negeri Sembilan's estate country.
Negeri Sembilan, with its Minangkabau heritage, runs from Seremban and Port Dickson to Kuala Pilah and Jempol.
From Rantau, the only tools you need are a laptop or tablet, a camera and a pen for worked examples. We share questions and notes on screen during the lesson.
There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Rantau. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.
The work
The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.
Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.
You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
How to apply
Tell us about your teaching in the WhatsApp message: subjects, levels, experience, availability and your expected hourly rate. Your CV comes next, in the same chat.
