Teach SPM Chemistry online from Port Dickson

Teaching from Port Dickson

Port Dickson sits in the Port Dickson district of Negeri Sembilan. Teachers living anywhere in the district, or elsewhere in Negeri Sembilan, are welcome to apply.

Port Dickson, PD to everyone who knows it, is Negeri Sembilan's stretch of the sea. Its coastline runs for kilometres past the beaches of Teluk Kemang and Si Rusa to the tip of Tanjung Tuan, where Cape Rachado Lighthouse, believed to be one of the oldest in the country and rebuilt in 1863, still watches over the Straits of Malacca and the forest reserve where migrating raptors pass every spring.

Negeri Sembilan, with its Minangkabau heritage, runs from Seremban and Port Dickson to Kuala Pilah and Jempol.

Because lessons run online, your location in Port Dickson only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Port Dickson. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

The work

The teaching is focused: SPM Chemistry for Form 4 and 5, one student per lesson, in English. You bring the explanations and exam know-how, and we bring the students.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

You tell us the hours you can teach, and we plan lessons inside them. Many of our teachers fit lessons around school hours, family time or other work.
