Teach SPM Chemistry online from Kuala Klawang

Teaching from Kuala Klawang

Kuala Klawang sits in the Jelebu district of Negeri Sembilan. Teachers living anywhere in the district, or elsewhere in Negeri Sembilan, are welcome to apply.

Kuala Klawang is a quiet town wrapped in green, sitting in a valley that opens toward the Titiwangsa range. Its identity is unmistakably Negeri Sembilan: many of the civic buildings carry the pointed Minangkabau roof ridges of the region, and the town is home to the Customs Museum (Muzium Adat), instantly recognisable for the giant replica Malay headdress above its entrance and its galleries on the Adat Perpatih way of life.

Making that drive out of the district and back for a single class is a serious commitment of time and fuel.

Teachers in Kuala Klawang often tell us the hardest part of private tuition is the travel between homes. With us that disappears, since each lesson is online and one to one.

The work

A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.

You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.

Part-time here means your hours, not ours. Share your weekly availability in the application and we will only offer lessons that fit it.
