Teach SPM Chemistry online from Masjid Tanah

Teaching from Masjid Tanah

This posting covers Masjid Tanah and the surrounding Alor Gajah district in Melaka. If you live nearby but not in Masjid Tanah itself, apply anyway and tell us your town.

Masjid Tanah carries its history in its name, which means "earth mosque", the story is that the town's early mosque was built from earth. The coast is close: Pengkalan Balak and Tanjung Bidara beaches lie just to the west, quiet stretches of sand that are among the state's turtle landing sites.

Melaka, the historic UNESCO city state, spans Melaka City, Alor Gajah and Jasin.

Because lessons run online, your location in Masjid Tanah only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.

Living in Masjid Tanah is no obstacle, because every lesson happens over video. You teach from your own desk, and the student joins from theirs, wherever they are in Malaysia.

The work

Each lesson is one teacher and one Form 4 or 5 student, working through the KSSM Chemistry syllabus and SPM exam technique. Lessons are taught in English, the language our students sit the paper in.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

There is no minimum timetable set on this page; your availability shapes the work. Tell us your days and times, and we take it from there on WhatsApp.
