We teach online one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons in English for students in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, from RM50 an hour after a paid one-hour trial. Lessons follow KSSM and DSKP and reach the whole west coast.
We are an independent online tutoring service offering one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons to students in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah. Our teachers work with one student at a time, in English, following the KSSM curriculum and DSKP standards, and lessons run from RM50 an hour after a paid one-hour trial.
Because the lessons are online, they reach you wherever you are in the city.
Kota Kinabalu, KK to everyone who lives there, sits on the Sabah coast in the shadow of Mount Kinabalu, South-East Asia’s towering peak, after which the city was renamed in 1967. Once the colonial town of Jesselton, it keeps landmarks like the Atkinson Clock Tower and Signal Hill, while the modern city gathers along the KK Waterfront and around Gaya Street, with the Sabah Foundation Building rising over Likas Bay.
For a Form 4 or Form 5 student growing up here, though, the pressing question is a familiar one: how to turn effort in Chemistry into marks on the SPM paper.
Online one-to-one fits KK especially well. The city and its districts spread a long way along the coast and into the hills, from the centre out to Likas, Luyang, Penampang and Putatan, and a family in Sabah can find specialist SPM Chemistry help harder to arrange than in the largest peninsular cities.
Evening traffic on the busy Lintas and Penampang corridors can turn a short trip into a long one. An online lesson removes all of that: no drive, no waiting, no distance to cover.
A strong, experienced teacher is available at a desk at home, and the whole hour is Chemistry.
Kota Kinabalu is one of Malaysia’s most diverse cities, home to Kadazan-Dusun, Bajau, Malay, Chinese and many other communities. Its SPM students come from national secondary schools (SMK), long-established mission schools and national-type Chinese secondary schools (SMJK), and study across Malay, English and Chinese.
In large, mixed classes it is easy for a single shaky topic to slip past unnoticed. One-to-one lessons put the individual back at the centre: the teacher works at one student’s pace, identifies exactly where the marks are leaking, the mole concept, electrochemistry, acids, bases and salts, organic chemistry, and spends the hour there instead of reteaching what is already solid.
We teach in English to match the SPM Chemistry paper (subject code 4541), while supporting the Malay and Chinese terms a KK student already uses. We cover Paper 1, Paper 2 and the Paper 3 practical, rehearsing how to identify variables, tabulate readings, plot a graph and write a conclusion that matches the marking scheme, so none of it is new in the exam hall.
Lessons are led by our experienced SPM Chemistry teachers experience.
