Teach SPM Chemistry online from Sungai Siput

Teaching from Sungai Siput

Applying from Sungai Siput or elsewhere in Kuala Kangsar? The role is identical across Perak, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.

Sungai Siput, its name is Malay for "snail river", grew up as a working town in the green heart of Perak. The mukim is one of the largest in the Kuala Kangsar district, and rubber and oil-palm plantations still spread across the country around it, a legacy of the estate economy that shaped the area for more than a century.

Perak stretches from Ipoh and the Kinta Valley down to Teluk Intan and up to Taiping and Kuala Kangsar.

You can be based anywhere in Sungai Siput and still teach a full timetable of students. Online lessons mean your students may be in another state entirely.

There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Sungai Siput. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.

The work

Students come to us for help with the hard parts of SPM Chemistry: the mole, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and Paper 3 practicals. You teach those ideas in English, at the pace one student needs.

The timetable is built around the slots you give us, not the other way round. Change in your circumstances later? Tell us on WhatsApp and we adjust.

You will cover the KSSM Form 4 and 5 chapters and the way SPM papers mark them. Clear explanations and well-chosen practice matter more here than speed.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.
