Experienced Chemistry teachers in Seri Manjung: this is a freelance, part-time role teaching SPM students online, one to one. Pay starts from RM50/hr and depends on your experience and availability.
Teaching from Seri Manjung
Applying from Seri Manjung or elsewhere in Manjung? The role is identical across Perak, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.
Perak stretches from Ipoh and the Kinta Valley down to Teluk Intan and up to Taiping and Kuala Kangsar.
There is no centre to travel to and no fixed classroom in Seri Manjung. Your commute is the walk to your laptop, which leaves more of your time for teaching itself.
Because lessons run online, your location in Seri Manjung only matters for one thing: a quiet room and a steady connection. Everything else, from notes to past-year questions, is shared on screen.
The work
Some students want to rescue a weak foundation; others are aiming for an A. One-to-one lessons let you teach both well, because the plan is built for one person.
Freelance means you stay in control of your week. You can grow your hours as you settle in, or keep them light during busy school terms.
A typical lesson mixes concept teaching with exam questions, taught in English over video. Because it is one to one, you can slow down or speed up for the student in front of you.
You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
What we look for
- Experience teaching SPM / KSSM Chemistry
- Familiarity with the current syllabus (SPM 4541) and Papers 1, 2 and 3
- Clear English, the language of our lessons
- A quiet space, a reliable connection and a device with a camera
