Putrajaya is a planned city like no other in the country, a federal territory laid out from the 1990s across wide boulevards, a large man-made lake and a set of numbered precincts. Its landmarks are civic: the pink-domed Putra Mosque on the lakeshore in Precinct 1, the Perdana Putra housing the Prime Minister’s office rising behind it, and the ministries and bridges strung around Putrajaya Lake.

Because Putrajaya’s homes, schools and services are spread across separated precincts, there is no single tuition belt a student can walk to, and an after-school class often means a parent driving between precincts or out toward Cyberjaya and Kajang. Online one-to-one lessons take that trip out of the day.
A student in Precinct 8, Precinct 9, Precinct 11 or Precinct 16 joins an experienced SPM Chemistry teacher from home, and the full hour goes into the subject rather than the road. Because the lesson is one to one, it bends around a single student, pausing on the reaction or calculation that is unclear, moving briskly past what is already secure, which a shared class cannot.
Who our Putrajaya students are
Putrajaya is overwhelmingly a city of civil-service families, and its schooling reflects that: strong, well-regarded national secondary schools (SMK) across the precincts, with many able students also boarding at fully residential schools (SBP) and MRSM elsewhere and coming home for the holidays. The home language is mostly Malay, and there is a real culture of exam ambition here.
SPM Chemistry, though, is set and answered in English, subject code 4541, so we teach in English, the language of the paper, while keeping the Malay terms a student already uses in class within reach, so an idea such as a mole, an electrolyte or an exothermic reaction is understood from either side and written down precisely under time.
How the lessons work
Every session is anchored to the KSSM syllabus and DSKP content standards the school teaches, so our lessons reinforce classwork. We prepare all three papers: the objective questions of Paper 1, the structured and extended answers of Paper 2, and the practical assessment of Paper 3, where we coach planning a fair test, tabulating readings, plotting graphs and drawing conclusions the data supports.
Because Chemistry builds on itself, a one-to-one teacher can go back to a weak early topic, chemical formulae, the mole concept, acids and bases, and repair it while keeping pace with current work, then move toward timed practice and precise marking-scheme wording as SPM nears.
