We provide online one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons for students in Chukai, Kemaman, Terengganu, taught in English with bilingual term support, from RM50 an hour.
We are an independent online tuition service offering one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons to students who live in Chukai, the town at the heart of the Kemaman district in southern Terengganu. Lessons are taught in English, follow the KSSM curriculum, and begin with a paid one-hour trial.
Chemistry help in the heart of Kemaman
Chukai is the commercial centre of Kemaman, the district that meets Pahang at the southern end of the Terengganu coast. Its character is easy to taste: this is keropok lekor and satar country, and the old kopitiam trade, Hai Peng Kopitiam among the best known, has made Kemaman coffee a name travellers stop for on the coastal road between Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu.
Around the town run the daily market at Pasar Chukai, the shophouse rows of Kampung Cukai, and a working waterfront where fishing and trade have shaped the place for generations. It is a busy town in its own right, but a specialist SPM Chemistry teacher is not always a short drive away.
Swap the coastal drive for a fixed weekly slot
That is where online one-to-one lessons fit. A Form 4 or Form 5 student in Chukai who wants dedicated Chemistry help might otherwise face a long run up the coast toward Kuala Terengganu, or south toward Kuantan across the state line, time that would be better spent studying.
Online lessons remove the drive: the teacher joins the student at home, and the full hour goes into Chemistry rather than the road. It matters most through the northeast monsoon, roughly November to February, when heavy coastal rain makes evening travel genuinely hard; a fixed online slot simply continues week to week.
Who our Chukai students are
Kemaman sends students to SPM from national secondary schools (SMK) across Chukai and its surrounding towns, alongside religious schools and the state’s residential schools (SBP) and MRSM colleges. Most students carry Malay as their first language, while the long-settled Chinese community around the town’s kopitiam and shophouse quarter adds Mandarin and dialect at home.
Whatever the school, the paper is the same: SPM Chemistry, subject code 4541, examined in English. We teach in English, the language of the exam, while keeping the Malay terms a student already knows within reach, so an idea such as a mole, an acid-base reaction or an electrolyte is understood from either side and written down correctly under time.
How the lessons work
Every session is anchored to the KSSM syllabus and DSKP content standards the school teaches, so our lessons reinforce classwork rather than compete with it. We prepare all three papers: the objective questions of Paper 1, the structured and extended answers of Paper 2, and the practical assessment of Paper 3, where we coach planning a fair test, tabulating readings, plotting graphs and drawing conclusions the data supports.
Because Chemistry builds on itself, a one-to-one teacher can return to a shaky early topic, chemical formulae, the mole concept, salts, and repair it while keeping pace with current work, then move toward timed practice and precise marking-scheme wording as SPM nears.
Every lesson is taught by one of our own experienced SPM Chemistry teachers. A new student begins with a paid one-hour trial, and regular lessons run from RM50 an hour in a fixed weekly slot.
If you are a parent or a Form 4 or Form 5 student anywhere in Chukai, send us a WhatsApp message with the school, the current grade and the topics that feel hardest, and we will suggest where a first lesson should start.
