Teach SPM Chemistry online from Cheras

Teaching from Cheras

Applying from Cheras or elsewhere in Kuala Lumpur? The role is identical across Kuala Lumpur, and your town simply goes into your WhatsApp message.

Cheras is one of the Klang Valley's most heavily built-up corridors, a long ribbon of townships running southeast from the city, Taman Connaught, Taman Midah, Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Taman Segar and on toward Bandar Sungai Long over the Selangor line. Wednesday nights it hosts the Taman Connaught pasar malam, widely described as the longest night market in Kuala Lumpur, and Cheras Leisure Mall has been a fixture for a generation.

Home languages run across Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Tamil.

A teacher in Cheras can have a student in Kuching on Monday and one in Johor Bahru on Wednesday. Online teaching takes the map out of the timetable.

The work

You teach one student at a time, so every lesson is built around what that student needs next. Expect mole calculations one week and Paper 3 practical answers the next.

Evenings and weekends are when most students want lessons, which suits teachers with a day job. If you have daytime slots too, mention them.

Our students are Form 4 and 5 candidates preparing for SPM Chemistry, and every lesson is one to one. You explain, they try, and you correct in the moment, all in English.

You might teach two evenings a week, or most weekday afternoons; both work. Put your real availability in the application so lessons fit your life.
