Tanjung Bungah sits along the northern seafront of the island, on the road that runs from George Town out toward Batu Ferringhi. Its best-known landmark is the Floating Mosque, Malaysia’s first mosque built out over the sea, which appears to float on the water at high tide and looks out across the Straits from the shoreline.
Behind it the town climbs quickly from the beach into steep, green residential hills crowded with condominiums, and at its heart the Tanjung Bungah market, one of the largest wet markets in the north of the island, draws residents from all along the coast. It is a settled, mixed neighbourhood where the sea is always close and the land rises sharply behind it.
Swap the coast-road crawl for a lesson at home
The single road along this coast carries almost everything: residents, school runs, market traffic and a steady flow of visitors heading to the beaches. Sending a child from Tanjung Bungah down into George Town for tuition in the evening can mean a slow crawl along the shoreline and back in the dark.

Whatever the school, the paper is the same: SPM Chemistry, subject code 4541, examined in English. We teach in English while keeping the Malay and Chinese terms a student already uses within reach, so an idea such as a mole, an electrolyte or an exothermic reaction is understood from any side and written correctly under time.
How the lessons work
Every session is anchored to the KSSM syllabus and DSKP content standards the school teaches, so our lessons reinforce classwork rather than compete with it. We prepare all three papers: the objective questions of Paper 1, the structured and extended answers of Paper 2, and the practical assessment of Paper 3, where we coach planning a fair test, tabulating readings, plotting graphs and drawing conclusions the data supports.
Because Chemistry builds on itself, a one-to-one teacher can return to a weak early topic, chemical formulae, the mole concept, salts, and repair it while keeping pace with current work, then move toward timed practice and precise marking-scheme wording as SPM nears.
