Sri Aman, once called Simanggang, is a historic riverside town on the Batang Lupar. Its best-known landmark is Fort Alice, a wooden fort built in 1864 during the Brooke era and now a museum, standing over a town that is also famous for the Benak, the tidal bore that surges up the Batang Lupar and is celebrated each year at the Pesta Benak.
A student here grows up beside that river and its history, but Form 4 and Form 5 come down to the same thing as everywhere in Malaysia: turning study into marks on the SPM Chemistry paper.

We teach in English to match the SPM Chemistry paper (subject code 4541), while supporting the Malay terms a Sri Aman student already carries from the classroom, so nothing is lost in translation. We cover Paper 1, Paper 2 and the Paper 3 practical, rehearsing variables, tables, graphs and marking-scheme conclusions directly, so none of it is met for the first time in the exam hall.
