Masjid Tanah carries its history in its name, which means “earth mosque”, the story is that the town’s early mosque was built from earth. It grew as a trading town, a meeting point for goods moving between Melaka City and the northern reaches of the state, and it still serves the farming and fishing country of northern Melaka as a market centre.
The coast is close: Pengkalan Balak and Tanjung Bidara beaches lie just to the west, quiet stretches of sand that are among the state’s turtle landing sites. It is a small, settled town rather than a city, and a specialist SPM Chemistry teacher is not always within easy reach of a family here.

That switch is where marks are quietly lost. We teach in English, the language of the exam, while keeping the Malay terms a student already carries within reach, so an idea such as a mole, an electrolyte or an exothermic reaction is understood from either side and written down correctly under time.
How the lessons work
Every session is anchored to the KSSM syllabus and DSKP content standards the school teaches, so our lessons reinforce classwork rather than compete with it. We prepare all three papers: the objective questions of Paper 1, the structured and extended answers of Paper 2, and the practical assessment of Paper 3, where we coach planning a fair test, tabulating readings, plotting graphs and drawing conclusions the data supports.
Because Chemistry builds on itself, a one-to-one teacher can return to a shaky early topic, chemical formulae, the mole concept, acids and bases, and repair it while keeping pace with current work, then turn to timed practice and precise marking-scheme wording as SPM nears.
