We provide online one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons for students in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, taught in English with bilingual term support, from RM50 an hour.
We are an independent online tuition service offering one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons to students who live in Kuala Terengganu, the capital of Terengganu on the east coast. Lessons are taught in English, follow the KSSM curriculum, and begin with a paid one-hour trial.
Chemistry help in an east-coast capital
Kuala Terengganu sits at the mouth of the Terengganu River where it meets the South China Sea, and its landmarks are unmistakable: the gleaming Crystal Mosque (Masjid Kristal) on the island of Pulau Wan Man, the busy Pasar Payang market where songket and keropok are sold, the old shophouses of Kampung Cina, and Taman Tamadun Islam across the water. This is a coastal city long shaped by fishing, boat-building and, offshore, the oil and gas industry.
It is also a place where a strong tuition teacher for a specific SPM subject is not always down the road, and where families on the east coast have fewer of the crowded tuition centres found on the peninsula’s west.
Swap the drive for a fixed weekly slot
That is exactly the gap online one-to-one lessons close. Instead of driving a child across town for a class, or doing without because the right Chemistry teacher is not nearby, a Kuala Terengganu student joins an experienced SPM tutor from home.
It matters most during the northeast monsoon, roughly November to February, when heavy rain and flooding can make evening travel across town genuinely hard; a fixed online slot simply continues. The whole hour goes into Chemistry, and because the lesson is one to one it follows a single student, pausing where an idea will not settle, moving on where it already has.
Who our Kuala Terengganu students are
Terengganu has a strong public-school tradition, and students here sit SPM from national secondary schools (SMK), religious schools, and the state’s fully residential schools (SBP) and MRSM colleges that draw high achievers from across the region. Most students carry Malay as their first language, and a smaller Chinese community around Kampung Cina adds Mandarin and dialect at home.
Whatever the school, the paper is the same: SPM Chemistry, subject code 4541, examined in English. We teach in English, the language of the exam, while keeping the Malay terms a student already knows within reach, so an idea such as a mole, an electrolyte or an exothermic reaction is understood from either side and written down correctly under time.
How the lessons work
Every session is anchored to the KSSM syllabus and DSKP content standards the school teaches, so our lessons reinforce classwork. We prepare all three papers: the objective questions of Paper 1, the structured and extended answers of Paper 2, and the practical assessment of Paper 3, where we coach planning a fair test, tabulating readings, plotting graphs and drawing conclusions the data supports.
Because Chemistry builds on itself, a one-to-one teacher can return to a shaky early topic, chemical formulae, the mole concept, salts, and repair it while keeping pace with current work, then move toward timed practice and precise marking-scheme wording as SPM nears.
Every lesson is taught by one of our own experienced SPM Chemistry teachers. A new student begins with a paid one-hour trial, and regular lessons run from RM50 an hour in a fixed weekly slot.
If you are a parent or a Form 4 or Form 5 student anywhere in Kuala Terengganu, send us a WhatsApp message with the school, the current grade and the topics that feel hardest, and we will suggest where a first lesson should start.
