Online SPM Chemistry Tutor in Kota Marudu

We are an independent online tutoring service offering one-to-one SPM Chemistry lessons to students in Kota Marudu, in the Kudat Division at the northern end of Sabah. Our teachers work with one student at a time, in English, following the KSSM curriculum and DSKP content standards, and lessons run from RM50 an hour after a paid one-hour trial.

Kota Marudu sits at the head of Marudu Bay, roughly 130 kilometres north of Kota Kinabalu along the federal road that runs up toward Kudat and the northern tip of Borneo. The town takes its name from the fort, the kota, raised near Marudu Bay in the nineteenth century by the local leader Sharif Osman, and the district today is farming country: its annual Maize Festival honours the crop that anchors much of the local economy, and spots like Sorinsim Waterfall lie in the hills beyond the padi and the plantations.

For a Form 4 or Form 5 student growing up between these fields, the pressing question is a familiar one, how to turn steady effort in Chemistry into marks on the SPM paper.

We cover Paper 1, Paper 2 and the Paper 3 practical, rehearsing how to identify variables, tabulate readings, plot a graph and write a conclusion that fits the marking scheme, so nothing is unfamiliar in the exam hall.
