Form 4 is the foundation year of the SPM Chemistry course, subject code 4541, and everything in Form 5 leans on how well this year is built. Its eight chapters begin with Introduction to Chemistry and Matter and the Atomic Structure, then move through The Mole Concept with Chemical Formulae and Equations, The Periodic Table of Elements and Chemical Bond, and on to Acids, Bases and Salts, Rate of Reaction, and Manufactured Substances in Industry.
