The shape of the Form 4 year
Form 4, part of the SPM Chemistry course with subject code 4541, is the year the whole subject is built on. Its eight chapters run from Introduction to Chemistry and Matter and the Atomic Structure, through The Mole Concept with Chemical Formulae and Equations, The Periodic Table of Elements and Chemical Bond, into Acids, Bases and Salts, Rate of Reaction, and Manufactured Substances in Industry.
For a lot of Ampang students the trouble begins early, with atomic structure: electron arrangement, proton and nucleon numbers, and the way the Periodic Table is arranged so that Group and Period actually predict how an element behaves. Get that clear and Chemical Bond, why an ionic bond forms, how electrons are shared in a covalent bond, starts to make sense instead of being memorised.

How our Form 4 lessons work
One-to-one teaching means the lesson tracks one student’s understanding, not a class average. We follow what the Ampang school is teaching now, then go back to strengthen whatever is unsteady, a formula that will not balance, a bonding diagram drawn from habit rather than reason.
Sessions are pinned to the DSKP content standards, and we build exam habits from the outset: clean working, correct units, and answers written to match what a question asks. We introduce Paper 1 and Paper 2 question types through the year and start the science process skills Paper 3 will test, so Form 5 arrives without any nasty surprises.
Why online suits an Ampang student
Ampang’s older roads wind through hillside neighbourhoods and can knot up badly around Jalan Ampang and the LRT line at peak hour, so reaching a physical class after school often costs more time in the car than in the lesson. Learning online erases that: the student logs in from home, whether near Ampang Point or up in Taman Kosas, and the full hour goes into Chemistry.
