Form 4 is the foundation year of SPM Chemistry, subject code 4541, and its eight chapters are Introduction to Chemistry, Matter and the Atomic Structure, The Mole Concept with Chemical Formulae and Equations, The Periodic Table of Elements, Chemical Bond, Acids, Bases and Salts, Rate of Reaction, and Manufactured Substances in Industry. Acids, Bases and Salts is the chapter that quietly separates grades in Alor Setar.
